Terms of service

The rules of the road.

These terms govern your use of Maya and lygge.com. Last updated 2026-04-22.

1. Who this applies to

These terms cover any individual or entity that signs up for Maya or uses lygge.com ("you"). We, Lygge, provide the Maya voice agent service under these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Subscription and billing

  • Month-to-month default. Your subscription renews monthly unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Annual prepay. After your first paid month you can switch to annual prepay for a 10% discount. Annual plans are non-refundable except as required by law.
  • Payment. We bill in USD via Stripe. Your card is charged on the first day of each cycle. Failed payment triggers a three-day grace period before service is paused.
  • Overage. Minutes beyond your tier allowance are billed at the overage rate on your next invoice. You see your minutes used in real time in your dashboard and receive an email alert at 80% of quota.
  • No setup fee. Ever.

3. Introductory offers

We are not currently offering an introductory pilot or first-month discount. New subscriptions begin at the standard tier rate published on the Pricing page. If we re-launch an introductory offer, the terms will be specified at the point of sale and updated here.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us through the form. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You retain access until then. We do not claw back the current cycle's fee.

5. Service level

We target the uptime SLA listed in your tier (99.5% / 99.9% / 99.95%). Enterprise customers receive service credits on missed SLA months. Starter and Professional customers do not receive credits but may escalate persistent issues for expedited resolution.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Maya to:

  • Make calls that violate telemarketing, anti-spam, or consumer-protection laws in any jurisdiction you operate in.
  • Impersonate a real human without disclosure if asked.
  • Collect payment card data outside of a PCI-compliant flow you own.
  • Circumvent call-recording disclosure laws.
  • Harass, threaten, or scam callers.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts engaged in any of the above without notice and without refund.

7. Your content and data

You own your transcripts, recordings, knowledge base content, and configuration. We process this data on your behalf under our Data Processing Agreement (available on request). We do not sell your data. We do not train third-party models on your data. You can export or delete your data at any time.

8. Our content

Maya, the Lygge brand, lygge.com, this site's content, and the underlying platform are ours. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use Maya for your own business purposes for the duration of your subscription.

9. Liability

We provide Maya "as is". We are liable for direct damages caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, capped at twelve months of fees paid by you. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in this clause excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of London, unless you are a consumer whose local mandatory-law protections override this choice.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes get 30 days notice via email. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
